Our aim is to source, stock and supply a comprehensive range of high-quality products, accessories and services for needlecraft and stitching enthusiasts everywhere.
We don't have any shops, and operate exclusively as an online and mail order business. We can, therefore, keep our overheads to a minimum and ensure you receive top quality products at competitive prices, with the added convenience of having them delivered direct to your door. We are based in the UK, but we supply our products worldwide.

Who Was Lucy Winter?
Lucy Winter was the great grandmother of the company's director Judith Greenwood, and the great great grandmother of co-director Kate Midgley. Lucy moved from Suffolk to Lancashire as a child with her family in the 1840s and they all worked in the cotton mills of Bolton. Of necessity, Lucy became an expert needlewoman producing exquisite work.
Some of her stitched pieces have since been passed from generation to generation and have become treasured family heirlooms that have inspired both Judith and Kate's love of needlecraft. When deciding on a name for their business, there was really only one choice!
